However, her past lover, Ezra, is still very much present in her life. She said that they are not romantically involved, but they work together. On the other hand, Ezra is not doing so well. Ian Harding, who plays the character Ezra, explained, "Ezra has had an eventful five years. Most people, hopefully, don't experience what he has. He is completely rudderless. He has no sense of who he is and what he's supposed to do with his life. He falls down a really deep well — into a sea of alcohol, if we continue this metaphor."

As for Hanna, it was revealed she will be engaged to another new love interest. Her fiancé was reportedly someone who she met in Europe while travelling. Apparently, Hanna will no longer be in a relationship with Caleb, as said by Ashley Benson who plays the character. Benson also explained that her breakup with Caleb was the saddest thing she has ever read.

With that, another romance was broken for the upcoming season. It was revealed that Spencer, played by Trojan Bellisario, had also ended it with Toby. Bellisario said, "You get to take a romance that's been working for six years and kind of watch the moment when it all crumbles."

Fans will surely learn more about these broken hearts when "Pretty Little Liar" returns in 2016.
