'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6B Premiere Spoilers: Show Creator Hints at Romance
"Pretty Little Liars" is due to return on ABC to continue the second half of Season 6 early next year and spoilers have already emerged for its mid-season premiere.
With the explosive revelation of "A's" true identity when Season 6A Episode 10 ended on August 11 and Aria turning to the camera to break the fourth wall and swear audiences to secrecy, fans of "Pretty Little Liars" can expect some changes when Season 6B returns on ABC in January 2016.
With the mid-season premiere only four months away, the show's creator, I. Marlene King has revealed Episode 11 will contain an intro focusing entirely on Aria's (Lucy Hale) "shhh" gesture.
King responded to queries from the show's fans on Twitter, revealing 6B will present a new opening scene where everyone will also get a turn to go "shhh," like Aria did.
With the premise that Alison is still alive, CeCe's (Vanessa Ray) future hangs in the balance after a shocking reveal in Episode 10 pointed her out as "A," exposing that she is Ali's brother, Charles who everyone thought was dead.
Given the 5-year jump into the future, showing a married Alison, audiences can expect all new developments happening in the girls' lives when the show returns for its mid-season premiere next year, including that Ali is married to a doctor named Rollins, a reveal King announced on a TVLine interview.
CeCe will reportedly have a much bigger part in Season 6B, with Alison staying behind in Rosewood to take care of her.
King has taken to Instagram recently, posting an artwork piece portraying the bedroom of one of the girls, and asking her followers to guess which of the PLL girls the bedroom belongs to.
In the framed watercolor painting showed in the image, two dark-haired people are spooning in bed, their faces hidden in white sheets. King's followers have been speculating whether the dark-haired man and woman are Aria and Ezra (Ian Fitz).
King had earlier revealed on Twitter that Season 6B will be full of romance, and it may be possible Aria and the former English teacher may soon be running back into each others' arms.
"Pretty Little Liars" will air its mid-season premiere on January 2016 at 8/7 CT on ABC.
