The cast and crew of "Pretty Little Liars" announced through a Facebook Live broadcast that the series is ending after Season 7. Fans and followers of the Freeform mystery-drama series have been speculating online whether Season 7 will be the show's season. And this was officially confirmed by none other than the show's creator and cast themselves.
Appearing live on set were the cast Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, and Sasha Pieterse and PLL creator I. Marlene King. They were busy filming the final 10 episodes of Season 7 when they paused to reveal the heartbreaking news.
Hale, who plays Aria Montgomery, said that this has been an amazing experience and they are glad that fans and viewers are there to share it with them. She also said "all good things must come to an end", adding that the final 10 episodes will be the best of the series.

PLL in a new form?
Creator I. Marlene King confirmed that the final 10 episodes will end the series. But she also hinted that PLL might continue in a new form. The second half of Season 7 will premiere on April 2017, with the finale as a two-hour episode. King also has a new series after "Pretty Little Liars" entitled "Famous in Love". She also mentioned being excited about this new project.
Character death in 'The Darkest Night' episode
So far, Season 7 has been a series of fights and deaths. One of the highlights was Sara Harvey's death. However, if you base it on PLL's past episodes, death is never permanent. She was found lifeless in the shower, but no one really was sure she was dead. Reports also said that there could be more character deaths in the next episode and on the next half of Season 7.
Viewers should remember that Sara was at the brink of sharing some important information with Emily. She was about to reveal who they have to watch out for and who she was running from, but alas, she died before she even got to do this.
Fans say that it has to be Jenna since her character has been very suspicious since the first episodes of the series. Some hinted that Jenna was simply a victim like Sara. She was just seeking answers as to who killed Charlotte, just like the other girls.
