Prince Charles to be Called 'Grandpa,' Camilla 'GaGa' by Prince George

Prince Charles is thrilled to be a first-time grandfather and will ditch royal protocol to be called simply "grandpa" by his grandson, Prince George. His wife, Camilla, wants to be called "GaGa," which is reportedly the name that her other grandchildren call her.

"He told me, 'I think I'm going to have to go on a babysitting course as it's a while since I have done this sort of thing,'" Keith Dixon told the Daily Mail. He had the honor of speaking with Prince Charles during the Sandringham Flower Show. Charles also revealed that he wanted to be called "grandpa," and not "granddad."

Charles is reportedly head-over-heels for his new grandson, whom he has given the nickname Georgie. The latest heir to the throne was born on July 22, and has been spending time with his maternal grandparents in Bucklebury. Kate, William, and George are spending time with the Middletons in an effort to have more privacy and help since they have not hired a nanny yet.

Dixon did not want to leave Camilla out of the conversation and asked her what baby George looked like.

"She said that he looks absolutely gorgeous – that he really doesn't look like anyone else at the moment but that he's a really beautiful baby," Dixon said. The family "haven't decided" what she should be called by the young prince, but her other grandchildren call her "GaGa."

"I don't know if it's because they think I am," she told the Daily Mail, "but it is still very sweet."

The royal grandparents were inundated with presents for baby George, including several handmade gifts, including a shawl, and several stuffed animals. It's clear that they are both thrilled to be a part of baby George's life.

"It's a wonderful feeling to be a grandfather. It's a very nice feeling, isn't it?" Charles asked fans. He described the new baby as "very sweet" but added that it was "too early to say" who he looked like just yet.
