Prince Death News: Suicide Ruled Out in Musician's Death Investigation

Following Prince's death that caused shock waves to ring across the globe, new details from the authorities reveal that suicide has been ruled out as a cause of death.

According to BBC News, Sheriff Jim Olson of the Minnesota county said "We have no reason to believe at this point that this was a suicide." It should be noted that the iconic musician was found alone and unresponsive on Thursday and initial findings reveal that there were also no signs of trauma on his body.

The singer was last seen at around 8 PM on Wednesday night and was found unresponsive in an elevator in his Paisley Park home and studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Multiple outlets reported on the day of his death that Prince had always been a private person and it wasn't a surprise that he was alone when he died.

CNN says the medical examiner's office has refused to release any information about the investigations yet. The office said it will "not release information until the exam is complete and all results are obtained."

Members of Prince's staff tried to contact the singing sensation on Thursday morning and they opted to drop by his home to check on him. He was found slumped on the elevator and it has yet to be revealed how long he was at the lift before he was found.

Staff members then called for help and though paramedics tried to perform CPR on the 57-year-old entertainer, he never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead at 10:07 AM.

Due to the lack of official information regarding the circumstances surrounding Prince's death, new reports emerged, suggesting that the songwriter might have been having extreme health issues before he passed away.

According to The Guardian, some suggest that Prince may have been sick but refused to stay in the hospital. The speculations only became more intense as reports revealed an incident days before Prince's death that involved a medical emergency on board the music icon's private jet. Due to the alleged medical emergency, the jet reportedly made an unscheduled landing some days before the singer died.

The multi-instrumentalist, born Prince Rogers Nelson, is known around the world for his music that rose to fame in the 1980s. Some of his hit songs include "Let's Get Crazy" and "When Doves Cry."
