Meghan Markle Shuts Down Lifestyle Blog The Tig

Three years after launching her passion project, Meghan Markle has announced that she will close down her famous lifestyle blog The Tig. Markle has been in a relationship with Prince Harry for nine months and many speculate that her move to shut down the blog is an indication that she is finally moving into the royal fold.

For years, Markle provided lifestyle tips through her blog. Since its launch back in 2014, the site has grown into a community that provides support and fun to its followers. It started to gain more attention when she started dating the prince last year.

The 35-year-old American actress announced that she would shut down her blog via her site's homepage and her personal Instagram account, where she posted, "After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it's time to say goodbye to The Tig. What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity."

In her post, the actress also thanked her fans for making her days brighter and filling her blogging experience with so much joy. Towards the end of her post, she implored her fans to keep finding the "Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks and keep being the change that they wish to see in the world."

"Above all, don't forget your worth — as I've told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough. Thank you for everything," she signed off.

There are speculations that after shutting down her blog, she might also quit her current legal drama "Suits" soon so she could move to London with Prince Harry. The actress and activist is currently based in Toronto, Canada but has recently been spending more time with the prince at Kensington Palace.
