'Princess Principal' Anime Spoilers: Duke of Normandy to Confront Ange and Crew in Potential Second Season?

"Princess Principal" has ended with its 12th episode, but it has also managed to leave some loose threads to tie up in a potential second season.

Ever since it began, the anime series has presented a non-linear narrative every week, with cases going as far as the 18th and the 20th. However, the final three episodes of the series showed three consecutive cases starting from the 22nd to the 24th.

There are still a lot of cases that have not been featured yet, which has led fans to wonder if Ange and her crew will be back for a second season soon? Perhaps a special original net animation may also be enough to fill in the gaps with more of the girls' cases.

On the other hand, General Zelda has just told Ange how he knew she was not actually Ange. It can be recalled that Ange and Princess switched places 10 years prior to the revelation, and have since decided to keep things as they were. And if Zelda was able to figure this out, one can't help but wonder who else has already caught on to the truth?

Things have gone back to normal at Control, with L back in authority. But a complication may just arise from Princess' hat, which she has unknowingly left in a very incriminating place. The sight of it has already made the Duke of Normandy, her uncle, suspect her involvement in the attempts to foil his plans.

And since the series seems to have ended with the idea of continuing on with a second season, fans are already looking forward to more of the Principal Team's adventures. However, there is still no official announcement regarding this matter.

"Princess Principal" is a television original anime that began airing in July and concluded its 12-episode initial run on Sept. 24. Fans can check out the series' official site for news and updates on a potential second season.
