'Property Brothers' Star Drew Scott Tumbles and Falls During 'DWTS' Performance

"Halloween Night" on "Dancing with the Stars (DWTS") for Drew Scott and partner Emma Slater turned out to be a tricky one.

According to a report from FOX News, the "Property Brothers" star and his partner stumbled and fell toward the end of their performance. What is interesting, though, is that the audience, as well as the judges, thought that the fall was part of their routine.

"DWTS" co-host Erin Andrews laughingly asked the two if that was indeed a fall or not. "Let's be honest. There was a bit of a fall, right?" Andrews asked. In turn, Slater said that "there's a lot of fog on the floor and it kind of leaves this residue" for their performance inspired by the movie "Corpse Bride."

"But you know what? He did it right on!" continued Slater. She said that she and Scott knew that the floor was a bit slippery. Scott, on the other hand, sent out a playful response. "I think with something like this, we can get away with a bit of goofiness. I got back on my feet and we finished that thing off," Scott explained.

The fall happened a little over a minute into the routine, when the two tumbled but quickly recovered. The cameras caught the error, which almost everybody thought was part of their steps. Despite the error, the judges were all praises for Scott and Slater.

Meanwhile, PEOPLE reported that the two's "Halloween Night" performance was supposed to be a bounce-back from their previous week's routine, which judge Len Goodman said was "awkward-looking." "Last week, we went full throttle with our dance and then we ended up on the bottom of the leader board," shared Scott while rehearsing for Week 7. He said that it pains him to see that they fell to the bottom after all the work they have put on. "It doesn't feel great," said the 39-year-old realtor.

"Dancing with the Stars" airs on Mondays, 8 p.m., on ABC.
