PS Now 2016: Get 12-Month Subscription for More than 55% Off Plus 'Batman,' 'Mortal Kombat,' 'Lego,' and Other Warner Bros. Games

Good news for those thinking about renewing or getting a subscription from Sony's PlayStation Now. Sony has announced that PS Now's 12-month subscription will be discounted for a limited time. In addition, several Warner Bros. games will also be added to the subscription service on Tuesday.

PS Now 12-month subscription deal

PS Now's Director of Marketing James Martin revealed the details over at the PlayStation Blog. Starting Tuesday, Dec. 8, gamers can grab their PS Now one-year subscription for $99.99. This translates to less than $9 per month and a savings of more than 55 percent off the service's regular subscription price.

The offer is available for gamers from the United States and Canada. It will last for a limited time only.

In addition to the discounted subscription deal, Sony also offers a seven-day free trial. PS Now currently has more than 250 games with new titles being added every month.

This month, Sony added "Borderlands," "Borderlands 2," "BioShock," "Bioshock 2," and "BioShock Infinite" to PS Now. And in November, the subscription service added 105 games, including "Resident Evil," "Mega Man," "Street Fighter," "Bionic Commando," "Lost Planet," and "Dead Rising," and more.

Nine Warner Bros. games added

Also available starting Dec. 8 are nine Warner Bros. games. These include games from the Batman franchise.

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum
  • Batman: Arkham Origins
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us
  • Mortal Kombat
  • F.E.A.R (Single-Player Campaign Mode)

The following Lego games will be joining "LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes:"

  • The LEGO Movie Videogame
  • LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4
  • LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7
  • LEGO Batman: The Videogame
  • LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

The PS Now service can be accessed on the Playstation 4, PS3, PS Vita, PS TV, Sony 2014 and 2015 TVs, 2015 Samsung Smart TV, and select Sony Blu-ray Disc players.
