'Pyre' news: Supergiant Games' newest playable at PAX East #8212 THIS WEEK; trailer features "In the Flame" from original Pyre soundtrack
PlayStation four and personal computer video gamers may be greatly motivated to join this year's PAX East gaming event which kicks off Friday April 22 in Boston, Massachusetts, to try out for themselves Supergiant Games' third game title "Pyre," especially when the party-based role-playing game will come out in 2017 yet.
The creator of "Transistor" and "Bastion" will have a setup at its booth #8212 where fans of its first two game titles can try their hand at the newest game "Pyre" by leading a group of exiles on a quest to prove their worth and thus gain absolution and win the honor of going home.
"Pyre" will allow players to make the ultimate choices as well as interact with other characters; combat action will be fast-paced and engaging, and eventually, the players get to select from the team those who will have their freedom and who will remain in exile.
For those who will not make it to Boston, Supergiant Games released the very first trailer for their upcoming game which features the song "In the Flame" from the Pyre Original Soundtrack. The song was written by Darren Korb who is also one of the vocalists along with Ashley Barett. The first reveal for "Pyre" before it debuts at the PAX East, the trailer depicts the rich color palette in scenes distinctive to the game creators. The mesmerizing tune adds to the haunting atmosphere of the "mystical purgatory" through which the gamer and the characters move.
Supergiant Games is a California-based, American game development company set up by Amir Rao and Gavin Simon in 2009. The company is not with the frequent habit of releasing new games, but when it does, gamers can be sure of having critically acclaimed ones, as the releases of "Transistor" and "Bastion" have proven.
Next year's coming-out has been slated for PS4 and PC, but mobile gamers are hoping for an iOS Pyre version soon after, which is what happened to the earlier two Supergiant Games.
