'Quantum Break' Game News: Hybrid Game out by April 5

To herald the arrival of "Quantum Break's" release next week, Microsoft released a new live-action trailer of the game that casts the spotlight on the game's villains.

The trailer gives gamers a glimpse of what they can expect from the game as it features a confrontation scene between "Quantum Break" hero Jack Joyce (Shawn Ashmore) and Paul Serene (Aidan Gillen) with the former asking the latter if it's possible for the past to be altered in order to influence future events.

It was announced earlier that "Quantum Break" will have a TV component that does the job of telling the story of the villains. Roughly, each of the four TV components runs for 22 minutes. However, this part of the game can be skipped if a player wishes to proceed with the game proper.

Players of the "Quantum Break" are presented with difficult choices that will affect the entire outcome of the story via a ripple effect. The impact of the events of both the game and its integrated live-action feature results in an action-packed thriller that a player can experience in more ways than one.

Meanwhile, for every purchased copy of "Quantum Break" for Xbox One, a buyer will receive a full-game download of "Alan Wake" for Xbox 360. The purchase will also come with two "Alan Wake" add-on packs, "The Signal" and "The Writer," which can be played on Xbox One, thanks to its Backward Compatibility feature.

Apart from the release of "Quantum Break," Microsoft is also releasing a Quantum Break Xbox One Special Edition, a 500 GB console that comes with a wireless controller. It is currently available for a pre-order and comes with a $299 price tag.

Purchase of Quantum Break Xbox One Special Edition also comes with the "Alan Wake" game and its expansion packs.

"Quantum Break" for Xbox One and PC is scheduled to be released on April 5.
