'Quantum Break' PC Settings, Episode Pack Download Size Detailed
As the release date of its upcoming time-manipulating shooter game nears, Developer Remedy Entertainment has decided to reveal "Quantum Break's" Windows 10 PC graphics settings. In addition, a new report has detailed just how much space gamers need to spare for the forthcoming game.
"Quantum Break" PC settings
In a blog post at its official site, Remedy Entertainment posted the graphical settings for "Quantum Break's" PC version. It includes basic settings, anti-aliasing which can be turned on or off, and the ability to lock the game at 30 FPS, play it 4K resolution, or turn off the HUD. Basic settings include texture resolution, effects quality, and SSAO. The game will also allow gamers to tinker with its shadow resolution and volumetric lighting.
"By popular request, we decided to share the Windows 10 version graphics settings that you'll be able to tweak to get the most out of your gaming set-up," Remedy Entertainment said in the post. "With options varying between on/off, minimum, medium, high and ultra, you can adjust the graphical fidelity of Quantum Break to your liking and experience the game even in 4K resolution."

The game will come with live-action episodes that serve as background story of the characters. These live-action episodes bookmark each act of the game, which can be viewed either by streaming or downloading only. Streaming them in 1080p requires the gamers to be connected to the internet on PC, while Xbox One players can download them.
The "Quantum Break" Episode Pack was found to be 75 GB in size, according to a report from NDTV. The pack consists of roughly 20-minute videos, with different versions available depending on a player's choices in the game. It's a hefty file which the report equates to almost two full games on the console.
Taking into account that the main game is 45.72 GB, gamers will need 120 GB to play the game and watch the episodes. This means one-third of a 500 GB Xbox One's free storage will be dedicated to the game.
"Quantum Break" is scheduled to launch on April 5. The game will be exclusive to Xbox One and Window 10 platforms.
