Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen End 10-Year Relationship

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have reportedly ended their decade-long relationship.

The Hollywood pair has called it quits, multiple sources have confirmed. A source told E! News that Bilson is now living in Los Angeles while Christensen is staying in Toronto.

"Yes, they are officially done within the last few weeks," Bilson's high school friend revealed. "It was a gradual buildup of issues and problems. They were in agreement it was time to move on as a couple."

The source added that Bilson and Christensen's "very different lifestyles and interests" may have led to their breakup. Christensen prefers to spend most of his time alone, while Bilson is "very social" and likes to be around her friends. Bilson allegedly tried to make the relationship work but she "got tired" of putting up with her now former beau.

While the duo have yet to officially confirm their breakup, a different source said they will stay friends for their daughter. "They will be on good terms because they have to be for Briar," added the second insider. "Rachel is very close with Hayden's family and has spent a lot of time with them in Canada and Barbados. She hopes that they can still be a family and continue to do things together."

Bilson and Christensen, both 36, met on the set of their 2008 feature film, "Jumper." They got engaged later that year, but eventually called it off in August 2010. They ended up reconciling after three months. The actors are parents to a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Briar Rose. News of the pair's split comes as a huge surprise, especially since they are notorious for keeping their relationship private.

Bilson is best known for her role as Summer Roberts on "The O.C." She also appeared in other TV shows such as "Nashville," "Hart of Dixie," "How I Met Your Mother" and "Chuck." Christensen, on the other hand, rose to popularity when he played Anakin Skywalker on two "Star Wars" films. He is currently filming for the 2018 film, "Little Italy."
