'Rainbow Six Siege' News: Additional Clues About the Operators and Locations Involved in Upcoming Outbreak Mode Discovered

Outbreak is included in the 'Operation Chimera' DLC pack due out next year

"Rainbow Six Siege" is set to receive a significant addition early next year in the form of Outbreak. And now, more clues about what Outbreak is are emerging.

First off, the developers themselves have already clarified that Outbreak is a "major coop event," though many players are expecting it to be the game's own take on zombie mode.

Since the announcement of Outbreak, several fans have used their spare time to uncover clues about this upcoming mode, and they have found some truly interesting ones.

For instance, earlier discoveries have hinted that the characters who will essentially act as zombies in Outbreak are actually infected by parasites. The infected individuals are transformed by the parasites, with their mental faculties and physical attributes being affected adversely.

The folks at PCGamesN have been closely following the community's latest efforts to uncover new clues, and they have really managed to find some interesting ones.

To be more specific, the newest clues discovered by the players hint at where Outbreak may be set and which Operators may be involved.

As seen in the PCGamesN report, the latest clues indicate that the Outbreak mode coming to "Rainbow Six Siege" may take players to a town in New Mexico, and there are additional hints that a resort and hospital may be involved. Furthermore, members of the United States army, the National Guard and SOCOM could be featured in Outbreak as well.

For now, the developers are still holding off on fully fleshing out Outbreak mode, but it likely will not be long before they do so given the early 2018 release window for it.

Also, Outbreak will be free-to-play and will be made accessible for four weeks, so plenty of players should be able to try it out once it goes live.
