'Rainbow Six Siege' News: Closed Beta Extended to October 1
Ubisoft's first-person shooter game, "Rainbow Six Siege," has been in closed beta since September 23. The game's closed beta however has been hounded with complaints from gamers who have not been able to get the beta access codes because the game's website encountered numerous technical issues. Ubisoft has announced that they are working on resolving these issues, while at the same time saying that they are extending the beta to October 1 to accommodate those gamers who have yet to get their access codes.
According to a report in Tech Times, the publisher said that they have already sent out "a large number of guaranteed access codes" and will be ready to share more of these codes to whoever is interested in participating in the beta.
Interested gamers, according to the report, can head on to the game's website. In order to access it, gamers need to click on the button "CLAIM YOUR CODE NOW!" in the middle of the website after checking on "I'm not a robot." Once verification has been made, the site will generate an alphanumeric code which will then be used as the access code for the Closed Beta.

To make use of the code, gamers will need to go to the beta page which is at www.rainbow6.com/beta and then click on "REDEEM CODE." Before doing this however, gamers have to make sure that they have their own Uplay account, as they will use this account to redeem the code. After selecting the gaming platform they will use (PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4), gamers will be asked to log in to their Uplay account. From here on, they will be asked to input the alphanumeric access code that was earlier generated. A confirmation email will be sent to the email account they used.
After the confirmation email, gamers need to wait for another code which will come with a download link, where they can download the Closed Beta of the game.
"Rainbow Six Siege" will be released on December 1, in time for the holiday season.
