'Rainy Cocoa Series Ame-con!!' Air Date, Spoilers: Fourth Season to Feature New Coffee Connoisseur Named Nana

The guys of the Rainy Cocoa team are back, and they will be bringing along their newest member when the upcoming Japanese anime series, "Rainy Cocoa Series Ame-con!!" premieres next month.

The newest key visual art that was released for the series revealed that not only will the guys still be in Hawaii, but they will also be joined by an adorable Shiba Inu named Nana, who is reportedly considered to be the official mascot of the Rainy Color's shop.

In this upcoming fourth season, the guys will be struggling to keep their shop running. Fortunately for them, Nana seems to have a real penchant for coffee and has a discerning nose for quality coffee as well. But will this be enough to keep the Rainy Cocoa team on their feet? Or will they instead end up realizing that maybe putting up shop in Hawaii wasn't the best idea after all?

The series is based on a bilingual Japanese digital manga series that comes with an app that gives readers an option to switch between Japanese and English languages for both text and voice.

An anime adaptation was first released in April 2015, followed by a second season titled "Rainy Cocoa, Welcome to Rainy Color" in October of the same year. A third season titled "Rainy Cocoa in Hawaii" began airing in October 2016.

The anime adaptation is directed by Tomomi Mochizuki, with Atsuko Takahashi providing character designs and Kaoru Kondou taking charge of music composition.

The first season was simulcast in North America by Funimation. The second season was born out of a crowdfunding campaign that aimed to raise 2 million yen in order to add more characters and cast members to the series. It was also accompanied by a live-action segment.

"Rainy Cocoa Series Ame-con!!" premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 10:25 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 10:25 p.m JST on Sun TV. Additional information regarding other broadcast schedules and online resources will be available at a later date.
