Randy Moss Works Out With the Saints
Former NFL wide-receiver Randy Moss has taken part in a work out with the New Orleans Saints in an effort to prove that he can still compete at the top level.
Fox Sports reported that Moss "looked like the old Randy" while he worked out. There was an unnamed source that was quoted as saying the tryout "couldn't have gone better."
Moss, who last played in the league in 2010, had a shaky season after being traded to three different teams during the 2010 NFL season that included stops in New England, Minnesota and Tennessee.

The wide receiver had his best year while he was with the Patriots in 2007. That season he caught 98 passes for 1,493 yards and posted a single-season record of 23 touchdowns that helped New England finish the regular season undefeated.
While his on the field accomplishments might get consideration from some teams it is his attitude and off field distractions that have some NFL teams cautious about Moss.
Moss once said, "I play when I want to play," when asked if he took plays off when he knew he was not going to get the ball.
The Saints might be in need of a receiver if they lose Marques Colston and Robert Meachem who are free agents.
The Saints also might be looking to build on Saints quarterback Drew Brees' season last year. Brees set the record for single season passing yards, surpassing the mark set by Dan Marino.
The Saints might be hoping that Moss could duplicate the season he had in 2007. That year Moss and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made their own history when they set the record for passing touchdowns in a season with 23.
The next question is whether the Saints feel that they can take that risk.
