'Ray Donovan' Season 3 News, Spoilers: Cochran Is On Set To Get Even With Ray
The past has a way of creeping back to the present and the titular character in Showtime's hit action drama TV series "Ray Donovan" will learn this lesson the hard way.
According to spoiler reports for the upcoming episode of the show's Season 3 titled "One Night in Yerevan," Ed Cochran (Hank Azaria) will be taking his chance to exact his revenge on Ray (Liev Schreiber) after what the latter did to the former.
Fans may remember how the FBI agent got disgraced when he finds himself entangled in the chaos involving Ray's father (Jon Voight) and the Sully (James Woods) affair. What Ray did is rather tragic in the part of Cochran when his sexual exploits were laid bare to the public. The extent of Ray's deed can also be credited to his anger with Cochran when it was discovered that Kate McPherson (Vinessa Shaw) died because of the operative.
Cochran, who appears to have been waiting for this one moment to strike for such a long time, now has the chance to even the scales with Ray. It was found out that Cochran is also connected to the National Football League (NFL) deal that Ray and Paige (Katie Holmes) have been so eager to nail down. The two ended up hiring Cochran to find the one last minority stakeholder to sign the deal.
Needless to say, the FBI agent will likely be using this one opportunity to give a hard blow on Ray.
Speaking just recently with The Hollywood Reporter, Azaria divulged some of the defining moments that fans should expect when his character bumps into Schreiber's.
"…it's all very under the surface. Is awkward the right word? Awkward to the point of dangerous. What are these people going to do to each other and when are they going to find the time to do it? They're certainly not happy to run into each other," he said (via THR).
Don't miss this intense scene when "Ray Donovan" airs this Sunday, September 13, at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
