'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Kenya Moore Slams NeNe Leakes' 'Stripper' Past; Denies Keeping Charity Money

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kenya Moore has again slammed her costar NeNe Leakes' behavior despite the reality TV star's recent apology.

On Sunday, viewers were stunned to see Leakes lose her cool at a charity event for Saving Our Daughters, which was hosted by Moore. While the "Glee" star, 46, has since apologized for making an awkward speech at Moore's masquerade ball, the former Miss USA, 43, refuses to let the matter go.

"What's most disturbing than anything is her 'I am bigger and better than anyone' attitude,'" Moore complained on her Bravo TV blog.

"NeNe is a former stripper with a few short-lived gigs in Hollywood given to her by one man," she continued. "My scoreboard says that makes HER not on our level."

Leakes admittedly once worked as an exotic dancer to support her family after leaving an abusive relationship, according to an interview she did E!'s Giuliana Rancic.

During episode 15 viewers watched Leakes reluctantly attend Moore's charity ball as "guest of honor" despite claiming she never received an invitation from the former beauty queen. The former friends fell out last year during a violent brawl involving other cast members and their unresolved feud escalated at Moore's event.

"Previously, I promised NeNe that I would throw an event to benefit her favorite charity. That I did with no ulterior motive," Moore explained.

The actress maintains that she sent each of her co-stars "the same invitation outlining my event details, dress code, program, etc. The electronic invitation my team used tracked all the invitations. Therefore, we could see that NeNe not only RECEIVED the evite but READ the invitation as well."

As expected the night was not without drama and Leakes made her dislike for Moore known after the Bravo TV star insisted that she say a "few words" to guests. Leakes has since acknowledged her inappropriate speech and apologized for her behavior, but Moore continues to slam her co-star.

"Alternatively, NeNe could have declined coming altogether, sent someone to accept on her behalf, or come and graciously accept her honor and ask people to be generous and donate, then, speak to me privately later," she wrote adding "Yet, she did none of the above. Proving money can't buy you class."

Moore, who insists her "heart was in the right place" that night, denied setting up Leakes and trying to make her costar look bad.

"This was my sweeping gesture … my olive branch. However, you don't take an olive branch and beat someone with it," Moore said.

On Wednesday Curtis Benjamin, Founder and CEO of Saving Our Daughters, accused Moore of failing to donate proceeds from her charity ball to his organization. The reality star boasted about raising "thousands of dollars" for SOD, but he maintains that none of the proceeds were ever received.

"To protect the integrity of Saving Our Daughters, our records show that we did not receive any of the proceeds raised from Ms. Moore's masquerade ball," Benjamin wrote in a statement.

Moore has denied Benjamin's claims

"I spent over $10,000 dollars to make the charity event successful, in addition to making a personal donation from the event as well as forwarding any and all donations collected," she told lovebscott.com.
