'Real Housewives of Atlanta' News: New Cast Members Will Be Claudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney
Peter Thomas of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has revealed that the show is auditioning new potential cast members.
Among those who are reportedly being considered are Claudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney. Jordan was spotted filming with Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey (Thomas' wife) at the opening of Thomas' new business venture Sports One in Charlotte, N.C. last week.
Thomas shared the filming details.
"Bravo crew came out, Kenya, new girl Claudia, my wife, Kordell [Stewart]. We shot at the bar last night until 2pm," Thomas told Realitytea.com. "The two new girls are extremely beautiful, so there was a lot of chemistry in the house."
According to the website, Jordan is a former Miss Rhode Island. She has competed in the Miss USA beauty pageant and is presently working as a DJ for DishNetwork's Rickey Smiley Show, where one of the Housewives, Porsha Stewart, also works.
McKinney is a singer, an actress and a philanthropist. She has appeared on several Tyler Perry productions, including "House of Payne." She is also said to be very much into fashion.
It has not been revealed whether the new girls will be replacing any of the Housewives on the show or if they will be cast as an additional Housewife, or friend of the Housewives.
Stewart is reportedly on a week-to-week contract, and despite rumors that Phaedra Parks will have limited appearances on the show in the wake of husband Apollo's sentencing, Nene Leakes confirmed that Parks will be back for the upcoming season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta."
