'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Reunion Show Recap: Porsha Sent Home for Pulling Kenya's Hair (VIDEO)

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 6 reunion show part 1 aired Sunday night and viewers saw Porsha Stewart sent home for attacking her costar Kenya Moore.

Stewart, who is rumored to be on the chopping block over the incident, broke down and cried hysterically after her fight with the former Miss USA. The pair had a heated exchange in the minutes leading up to their brawl which prompted Stewart to snap and lunge at Moore and she immediately regretted her violent behavior.

"I can't believe I did that! I have embarrassed myself!" a sobbing Stewart – who was seen helplessly lying on the floor – said apologetically.

Moore, whose hair was pulled during the attack, was seen storming off the set and openly complaining about the incident.

"I'm not going to sit here and get hit by somebody on TV. She goes or I go!" Moore said of Stewart after the incident.

As is always the case with any Housewives reunion, cast members were brought together to rehash old wounds and Bravo executive Andy Cohen was on hand to mediate. For the first time in the Housewives franchise's history, a cast member was sent home in the middle of filming the reunion show, which left many viewers stunned.

After attacking a distressed Moore, Stewart regained her composure but was sent home by Cohen. The Watch What Happens Live host made is clear that the Bravo network does not tolerate violence.

"You understand to get physical is not the way," Cohen told Stewart in a backstage dressing room before sending her home. "At some point you need to apologize to her."

Stewart and Moore have been at odds since they both joined the hit reality TV show in season 5 and tension reached new heights while filming the reunion show which proved to be a little too much for Stewart to handle.

Insults and a series of low blows were exchanged which ultimately caused Stewart to "black out" and attack.

"I blacked out. I didn't even realize what was happening until I was laying on the ground and saw NeNe … I'm embarrassed and disappointed, but also, I feel I was pushed to the wall," Stewart told Cohen of her behavior.

At one point Stewart accused Moore of hiring someone to play the role of her boyfriend to add to her storyline on the show, while the former beauty queen accused her of cheating on her ex-husband Kordell.

"Listen, you are not going to keep on talking about my character like you know what you're talking about," a visibly enraged Stewart told Moore prior to the attack.

Moore used a series of props, including a bullhorn, while on stage and at one point blasted Stewart as "dumb" which prompted Stewart to get up off the couch and stand over her before making a threat.

"I'm going to f--- you up!" Stewart said before lunging at Moore, which sent them both to the ground.

Moore, who called 911 after the March incident, formally pressed charges against Stewart last week which led to her arrest.

A new report claims Moore is open to dropping the charges on one condition.
