'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7 News: 2 New Housewives Added to the Cast, Porsha Williams Back for Recurring Role
Season 6 of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" showed the open animosity between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams which ended in an epic smackdown during the reunion show, but the Housewives aren't done yet as they are back for another season of fabulousness and drama, as Bravo adds two more housewives to the mix.
The network announced the cast of season 7 on Oct. 1, and Claudia Jordan will be joining the show as a full-time housewife, while Demetria McKinney will be joining as a friend of the housewives.
Jordan is a radio co-host on the Rickey Smiley Morning show, and is a good friend of Moore. She also worked as a model on "The Price is Right" and "Deal or No Deal."
McKinney is an actress and singer, and she is known for her role as Janine Payne on TBS' "Tyler Perry's House of Payne."
Fans will be happy to know that Moore is returning along with veteran Housewives Nene Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, and Cynthia Bailey.
After she caused quite a stir on season 6 of the show, Williams is not returning in the upcoming season as a regular cast member. She will have a recurring role in the series, which will spotlight her newly single life and her new job as a gossip reporter.
According to Us magazine, Bravo revealed a few of the storylines for season 7. One of them will feature Leakes as she juggles her growing career as an actress, entrepreneur, and performer. The show will also reportedly follow Parks dealing with the aftermath of her husband Apollo Nida's incarceration. Nida was sentenced this past summer to eight years in prison for fraud.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 7 premieres on Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
