'Real Housewives of Atlanta' season 8 cast news: Sheree Whitfield to return
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" (RHOA) is probably still a long way from the premiere of its eighth season, but Bravo executive Andy Cohen still has not revealed the cast members but instead confirmed that they will announce the cast a few weeks before the show begins.
In a "Watch What Happens Live" video, Cohen said he does not know the details about the show's cast but revealed that fans will know the lineup of the RHOA six weeks before the season 8 premieres. As the reality show is already filming for its next installation, new information have come up about a Housewife making her comeback, according to Christian Today.
Sheree Whitfield already left the show after its fourth season, but TMZ reports that she will once again join the cast of RHOA. Marlo Hampton, also one of the housewives, will also make appearances as a Housewife pal.
In a photo released by TMZ, Whitfield and Hampton could be seen talking to Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, and Kenya Moore. The relation of the photo to RHOA season 8 is still unconfirmed, but what is known is that it was taken during Bailey's eyewear event, the report relays.
In another photo published by the Daily Mail, Hampton and Moore are speaking with Bailey's husband Peter Thomas. The website alleges that the scene was being filmed by RHOA cameras.
Earlier reports have already claimed that Burruss, Bailay Moore, Phaedra Parks, and Williams will once again join the RHOA cast for season 8. For Burruss, the season will most likely revolve around her pregnancy.
Williams will become a Housewife again. Moore, on the other hand, will skip her feud with NeNe Leakes but will instead be facing off with Whitfield in the upcoming season, the report details.
Earlier this month, according to Entertainment Tonight, Moore and Whitfield got into a fight that involved some water splashing.
The premiere date for the Real Housewives of Atlanta has not yet been announced.
