'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Update: Brandi Glanville Returns as Guest Star, Kim Richards Opens Up About Her Sobriety
The American reality TV series "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is going to welcome back a returning star. According to a report by Daily Mail, Brandi Glanville is confirmed to return to the sixth season of the docu-series.
It can be remembered that the 42-year old reality TV star departed the show in June after being part of it for three seasons. And now, she's coming back to the Bravo show not as a full-time character but as a guest star. Sources spoke to Us Weekly magazine and revealed that Glanville will occasionally appear in the upcoming season. "She'll pop up and here and there, but by no means will she be on full time," said the source.
UPI reported that the mother of two sort of confirmed the news by retweeting on Wednesday a fan speculation. She is said to have already taped scenes for the upcoming installment as well. As to the reason why the bosses at Bravo wants her back, sources say that she's been invited again to shake things up in the show; to bring in some drama and spice as Glanville has been known to clash with her co-stars during her time in the show after entering in the second season. Fans who are looking forward to seeing her again in the show will have to wait and see what sort of performance she will bring.
In other news, Kim Richards has spoken up about her life at the moment. According to a report by E! Online, the former child actress' health seems to be on track. Richards also confirmed it via the "Brandi Glanville" podcast wherein she said, "Everything is good…It's a good time for me right now."
Ever since she left "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," her life has been less dramatic and stressful. Prior to that, she was sentenced to 52 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and 30 days of community labor after her arrest in April at Beverly Hills Hotel for a drunken confrontation. Reports also said that after the April arrest, she was also arrested for shoplifting. Later on, she was checked into rehab by her family.
Fortunately, things have been doing well for Richards as she verbalized that she is now focused on living in the present.
