'Real Housewives of New Jersey' News: Teresa Giudice Talks About Her Regrets in Bravo Interview
Teresa Giudice is dealing with a lot of things these days. She and her husband Joe have both pleaded guilty to bank fraud charges and taken a plea deal that she said in an interview with Bravo that she didn't fully understand. She had no idea that the plea deal could mean that she could actually go to prison.
Teresa will start a 15-month prison term on Jan. 5, and when she gets out, Joe starts serving 41 months behind bars. This arrangement was done so that one of them could be with their children while the other is incarcerated.
In an exclusive interview with Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen, Teresa and Joe talked about their regrets and how their RHONJ co-stars reacted to the news of their sentencing.

When Cohen asked why they didn't pay their liabilities before their sentencing, Teresa said, "We didn't have the money." But Joe said that they did. "I had it set up," he said, "I don't know what happened."
All three of their houses are on the market right now, and Cohen asked if the case affected their business.
"This whole thing has killed everything," said Joe.
Throughout the interview, Teresa apologized repeatedly, saying, "Sorry for what I did. I take responsibility and I'm paying for it."
Teresa also seems to have regrets about joining the show, as she said that if she were to do it all over again, she doesn't know if she would ever sign up to be in 'RHONJ.'
Among the housewives, Teresa said that only Dina Manzo has texted her since the sentencing. Meanwhile, Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea both feel like Teresa owes them an apology for all the mess created by the rumor that Aprea's husband, Rino, slept with his mother-in-law.
"Listen, I have a lot on my plate now," said Teresa. "This is the last thing that I want to deal with."
