'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 7 Cast Update: Teresa Guidice serves jail time, Amber Marchese on her battle with cancer, show to be cancelled?

It's time for some real updates on the lives of the stars of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" and the future of the show. It's been a long hiatus for the housewives of New Jersey after the wrap up of Season 6 last November 2014, which is why it's no surprise that rumors about the show getting cancelled are already surfacing.

According to Inquisitr, "Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 7 is reported to likely be cancelled because of "lack of authenticity." The cast members are going about with their own lives, heading to different directions, and it appears like none of them is on the same page with Bravo's concept of the franchise.

Aside from that, the housewife stars disapprove of the information about the network offering Teresa Guidice $1 million to return to the show after her release from prison. They're wondering why they aren't getting the same offer, especially since they're not ex-cons.

Speaking of Teresa, she is currently serving her 15-month jail sentence after being charged guilty of fraud. With her being in prison, she's missing out on the important events in her four young girls' lives, especially her eldest, Gia, who is going to her first day of high school, reports Daily Mail.

Everyone knows how big of a deal that is in a teen's life. But despite her mom not being by her side, sources say Gia's excited and ready to face the challenge of her first semester in high school. Besides, the girls will soon be reunited with their mother when she gets out of prison by Christmas.

Meanwhile, Amber Marchese is facing her own battle after learning in April that she has breast cancer for the second time, according to Bustle. The 37-year-old reality star has been very vocal about her cancer journey and wishes to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. She also shared in detail the treatment plans she may be undergoing through a blog in People. Right now, Amber is holding on to her faith, family and relying on good medicine to get good health back.
