'Real Housewives of New York' Ramona, Mario Enjoy Dinner Date Amid Reconciliation Whispers

"Real Housewives of New York" star Ramona Singer was recently spotted enjoying a dinner date with her estranged husband Mario, fueling reconciliation speculation.

On Thursday the pair, who separated last year in the wake of cheating rumors, were reportedly seen dining with friends at Lavo in New York City and onlookers claim they appeared to be in good spirits. Ramona, 57, is believed to have filed for divorce from the entrepreneur, 60, in January. They are now said to be working on their 25-year marriage.

"Ramona and Mario were having dinner with another couple, but they were holding hands and acting very affectionate towards each other," an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com.

"They definitely looked like a couple that wasn't divorcing, and appeared to be very much in love," the source went on. "There was a lot of laughter, and Ramona didn't look like she had a care in the world."

In March the estranged couple reunited to spend family time with their daughter Avery at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The college student tweeted a photograph taken with her parents to her 25,000 Twitter followers which sparked reconciliation whispers.

"I'm taking it day by day. There are no set rules. And life is an adventure and we'll see where it takes me," Ramona said. "Basically, I'm a happy person, so I think that's important to feel good about yourself," she continued. "This definitely a difficult time."

Ramona and Mario's marital woes are not being played out on the current season of "Housewives" as the Pinot Grigio maven previously explained that their problems occurred after filming for season 6 wrapped up.

The reality TV star spoke about her marriage during an appearance on the "Bethenny" show which aired March 11. She admitted that she still loves Mario and alluded to a reconciliation.

"Right now I am going through some adversity but through adversity you become stronger and you know what I have me, myself and I," she told talkshow host Bethenny Frankel.

"None of this happened until after the show. My situation with my husband didn't happen until just a couple of weeks ago," she explained. "I know my husband loves me, he knows that I love him and we will see what happens ... Nothing is written in stone."
