'Real Housewives of New York' Season 8 Finale Spoilers: Luann Makes A Phone Call to Tom; Bethenny to Leave Series?
The phone call that everybody is waiting for will happen in the RHONY Season 8 finale.
In last week's episode of "Real Housewives of New York" (RHONY) Season 8, Bethenny Frankel dropped a bomb on Luann de Lesseps regarding her fiancé. This week, the much anticipated moment of the whole season will finally be shown. Luann calls Tom D'Agostino Jr. to confront him about his cheating on her with an unknown woman in a NYC hotel.
Bethenny delivered the heartbreaking news to Luann by showing what she initially said, was a receipt that was in her pocket. The receipt turned out to be a photo of Tom kissing another woman in New York. It was a slap in Luann's face and it clearly broke her in the final moment of the RHONY episode.
It appears that Tom is not ready to commit himself to Luann big time. With this new development, the question whether the engaged couple will call off their wedding has suddenly cropped up. It was earlier announced that the wedding will happen on New Year's Eve this year.

The phone call
In a sneak peek of the "Real Housewives of New York" season finale, a devastated Luann can be seen making the phone call that everybody has been waiting for. She confronts Tom about the kissing photo and asks him how he could do that to her "in the Regency in front of everybody".
Apparently, Tom said that he was drunk and did not remember what happened. Luann finds it difficult to believe that he was that drunk not to remember. It will be interesting to see how the intense phone call seen in the preview will end.
Looking for a wedding gown and sending out invitations
According to "Real Housewives of New York" spoilers, the wedding is still on, based on what Luann has said regarding the alleged cheating. She also added that Bethenny did the right thing if "her heart is in the right place".
Sources also say that Luann is currently looking for a perfect wedding gown. She has also been sending out a few wedding invitations as the important date approaches. So far, Dorinda Medley is the only other current star of RHONY that has been invited.
However, former RHONY star Jill Zarin and former Real Housewives of Miami star Marysol Patton are included in the guest list.
Bethenny's last season
Since last episode's airing, Bethenny has been receiving flak for telling Luann about her husband-to-be's indiscretion on camera. She stands for what she did and had a simple answer to one follower on Twitter, "Just one answer: I am on a reality show."
The situation with Luann was not easy on Bethenny either. She was forced to deal with the fallout of her own bitter divorce from Jason Hoppy, which was still pending at the time RHONY Season 8 was being filmed.
Meanwhile, Bethenny has not yet decided on returning for another season of "Real Housewives of New York", according to several reports. She was offended by the line of questioning in an episode related to her Skinny Girl Cocktails business. The Chief Operating Officer said that her experience was very negative, and even put her integrity in question. She added that she never takes questions about her work lightly.
The "Real Housewives of New York City" Season 8 finale airs Wednesday, August 24 on Bravo.
