'Real Housewives of Orange County' News: Kelly Dodd Confirms She Seeks Divorce From Husband

"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Kelly Dodd recently opened up about her plans to divorce her husband Michael. The couple has been married for 11 years.

In a recent interview, "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Peggy Sulahian said that although she hasn't known Kelly and Michael for a long time, she found the news about their upcoming divorce heartbreaking, saying that it's always unfortunate for a family to go through what her couple's marriage is currently going through.

"I always say, 'There's two things that ruin a family: It's divorce and cancer.' It's not easy. It's terrible. I feel for her," she said. Sulahian, who is the newest addition to the "Real Housewives of Orange County's" cast, also shared that her husband Diko was lucky to know Michael, whom she described as "an amazing guy."

However, she admitted that she was able to sense some trouble in their home based on how her co-star Kelly deals with her fellow Housewives. According to her, Kelly is usually unhappy and disrespectful for no reason.

"I could tell from someone's actions and someone's eyes what they're going through, and I do feel for Kelly... To have divorce in the family, it's very unfortunate, especially when you have a child. Hopefully, they'll reconcile in the future," said Sulahian.

In a separate interview, Dodd revealed that she sought a divorce from her husband at the end of September and that their case was a mere case of two people who could not get along. The couple, who have an 11-year-old daughter, filed for a divorce in 2012 but eventually decided to get back together.

Meanwhile, the latest episode of the show saw Shannon Beador turn to her mother for advice as she continues to struggle with her weight gain. According to the reality star, her husband already finds her "disgusting" because of her size.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
