Real Madrid vs Almeria Live Stream: Watch Spanish La Liga Football Online
Real Madrid continue their chase for the top spot in the Spanish La Liga as they host Almeria at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The match is on April 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. ET.
Currently, Madrid are two points behind Barcelona and are second in the table. They are trying to get as much points as they can while hoping that the Catalans slip with only five matches remaining in the league.
The Los Blancos are riding a five-match winning streak, with their most recent match a 4-2 win over Celta de Vigo.
In that match, Javier Hernandez stepped up and played well for the Spanish heavyweights as he scored two goals, one in each half. Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez also found the back of the net as Madrid were barely challenged by Celta. Aside from the La Liga, Madrid are also in the race for another piece of silverware in the UEFA Champions League. They are in the semi-finals where they are set to face Juventus in Torino for the first leg.
However, they must also give as much attention to their league performances and a slip against Almeria may very well cost them a domestic title.
Meanwhile, Almeria are also battling for placing in the league. However, it is not for any title but simply to keep their place in Spain's top competition next year. They are 17th in the league and are only two points from being part of the drop zone where Deportivo La Coruna, Granada and Cordoba are currently seated.
Almeria have only won two of their last 11 league games, but their most recent was a 2-0 win over Eibar.
With only a few games remaining, both teams need to get wins for their respective goals this season.
