'ReCore' Release Date News: Launch Delayed as Team Preps for Release on PC
Announcements on release date delays for some games have started to alter the excitement for the gaming industry, and recently, one of the titles set to be pushed to a later date is "ReCore."
Multiple outlets confirmed that Keiji Inafune's Comcept and Armature Studio are not pushing through with the initial spring 2016 release date; instead, the adventure game is now slated to launch at a later date.
According to Engadget, a Microsoft spokesperson dropped the news. "We have not yet set a launch date for ReCore however the game will be ready in the latter half of 2016," the representative said.
This means fans will have to lay low and keep their excitement at low levels for some additional months. Fortunately for some, the bad news has a logical reason.
It has been announced earlier this week that the game will not only hit Xbox One but will also be out on the PC. With another platform to work on, it is only reasonable that Inafune and the rest of the team spend more time working on the developments to make sure they will deliver a game worthy of the long wait.
For the most part, some players have been thinking that it was unfair to keep the robot adventure game solely for the Xbox One. Some said earlier that a game from Inafune wouldn't be enough to entice consumers to get a Microsoft console. News that the game will be available for the PC somehow calmed down the frustrated community.
On the other hand, some fans think a game to be launched for two platforms isn't enough reason to keep players waiting, especially since there was no trailer released to somehow ease the pain that fans felt with the sad news.
For now, gamers can just go back to the trailer released during E3 2015 to find out what "ReCore" offers and if it is worth the wait.
