'Red Dead Redemption 2' Release Date, News: Game to Be Featured at E3?

With "Red Dead Redemption 2" slated to release later this year, fans are expecting to see more of the game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017.

Rockstar Games has been tight-lipped about the highly anticipated sequel ever since it was announced back in October, but this radio silence could be over soon.

With the target release date nearing, fans expect to see more of "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the coming weeks or months. It looks like the E3 2017 will be the venue for that.

Rockstar's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, is one of the participants in the upcoming convention, which had many believing that the western shooter will be featured there.

However, Take-Two's inclusion in the event does not necessarily mean they will be there to talk about "Red Dead Redemption 2." Gamingbolt says that the company might feature titles from 2K Games instead.

Fans have been waiting for new details about "Red Dead Redemption2" for months now. Rockstar's history when it comes to teasers hints that the company plans to be silent about the game.

The first "Red Dead Redemption" game was announced back in February 2009. It was not until December of that year that they released a teaser introducing the protagonist, John Marston.

From the looks of it, Rockstar is not planning on uncovering more of "Red Dead Redemption 2" anytime soon, making E3 the perfect place as the event is not happening until June.

However, it is important to note that when it comes to its big offerings, Rockstar does not usually reveal them in massive gaming conventions. Instead, they announce them online. This could be the case for the "Red Dead Redemption" sequel.

For now, with nothing confirmed yet, it looks like fans will just have to wait a bit more. E3 will take place June 13 to 15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
