'Reign' Cast News, Update: Will Nostradamus Return for Season 3? Other Teasers Revealed
A lot of fans of the hit period drama TV series from The CW "Reign" have been wondering if they'll be seeing more of Rossif Sutherland's character Nostradamus when the show returns for its third season.
To offer clarifications on the matter, executive producer Laurie McCarthy spoke with Entertainment Weekly and it turns out that indeed, he will return but not as the way it is expected.
"He will be in the series intermittently, but he's still really pissed at Catherine, so I don't think he really feels a great desire to be under her thumb again," McCarthy told the media outlet .
The EP added that Nostradamus is going to be a "visitor to court" but as to when or how long before it happen remains to be found out.
The TV scoop from the publication also made mention of a "surprise return to French court" which was revealed by none other than the actress who plays Queen Elizabeth, Rachel Skarsten.
An earlier report cited Jonathan Keltz, who plays the castle servant named Leith, reveals that Season 3 will be a "pretty different" from the previous installment.
"This is a show that will continue to evolve. There will be new people arriving, there will be old people departing- and I don't mean old as in old age," the actor told Enstarz.com.
"Season three is going to bring a lot. It's already been written about and we have a [Queen] Elizabeth joining the show and that alone is going to change what it is that we see in the world that we [already] see ... I think there are definitely some really exciting times ahead for the gang," he added.
"Reign" Season 3 is slate to premiere this fall on The CW.
