'Reign' Season 3 Episode 5 Spoilers: Nostradamus Gains New Vision About Francis
After that gripping moment of life and death of which King Francis barely passed through in the third season of The CW's hit historical drama TV series "Reign," another piece of bad news will come to the royal court as the show continues this week with a brand new episode.
Titled "In A Clearing," the synopsis for the segment posted on the Futon Critic tells of the return of the famous soothsayer, Nostradamus. He brings rather dire news concerning the fate of the King of France. Catherine will be the first person to get wind of the information that the seer has returned.
The promo video shared over at Carter Matt features the young couple having their moments by the beach. Mary, who is about to sign off her claim to the English throne to finally settle in France with the revived Francis, tells her husband not to waste any second of his second life which was miraculously brought back to him.

The next scenes then show Nostradamus talking to Catherine, telling the latter about the images wherein he saw Francis' fate, "strange and dreamlike, then there is blood."
Intriguing scenes followed showing Catherine pulling down the flag of the family's emblem. Do the visions foretell of a rather tragic fate between the young royal couple? Will Francis finally bite the dust?
Executive producer Lauren McCarthy previously told TV Fanatic that the show will stay true to history and this means killing off King Francis. Although there is still no confirmed information as to when this tragic episode will happen, rest assured that it will come to pass sooner or later in the recent season.
