'Reign' Season 3 Episode 7 Spoilers: Lid Lifted On Prince Don Carlos' Dark Secret
Mary will continue struggling with the aftermath of her husband's death in the upcoming episode of the series "Reign" season 3.
It was revealed that the upcoming midseason finale of the series will feature Mary, played by Adelaide Kane, and Catherine, played by Megan Follows, as they struggle from Prince Don Carlos of Spain's, played by Mark Ghanime, secret. With that, the two will continue working together to bring the French Court back to stability.
The previous episode showed Mary trying her best to help Catherine protect the throne. Because of that, she had to take matters in her own hands by getting rid of the alliance between France and Scotland. This then put Catherine responsible for the French throne before Francis' younger brother Charles is ready to take on the role.

Mary also had to find a way to secure her future, which led her to the realization that she must marry again. With that, she sought the help of Prince Don Carlos. However, it was hinted that he could also bring more trouble to the story.
According to Carter Matt, the upcoming synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "When Prince Don Carlos (guest star Mark Ghanimé) of Spain visits France, Mary (Adelaide Kane) uncovers a dark secret he is hiding and enlists in Catherine (Megan Follows) to advise her on how to handle [it]. When Gideon (Ben Geurens), the new ambassador from English court arrives, suspicions arise about what his true intentions are, while Bash's (Torrance Coombs) pursuit of the mysterious killer comes to a head at Greer's (Celina Sinden) tavern."
After the death of King Francis, played by Toby Regbo, fans are hoping that the season will continue without them losing any of their favorite characters once again. However, the recent trailer for the new episode explained that the French court will be presented with another deadly threat.
"Reign" season 3 episode 7 is expected to air on the CW on Dec. 4.
