'Reign' Season 4 Episode 4 Spoilers News: Mary Falls for Lord Darnley?

Lord Darnley (Will Kemp) and Mary (Adelaide Kane) officially meet for the first time in this week's episode of "Reign" season 4, "Playing with Fire."

One of Mary's plans to secure the throne is to marry Darnley. This is more important than ever following the failure of Mary's plan to settle down with Gideon (Ben Geurens).

Thanks to Lady Lennox's (Nola Augustson) quick thinking in the previous episode of "Reign" season 4, Mary and Darnley's union is inevitable.

In fact, it appears that Mary will find another reason to go through the marriage. The synopsis for "Reign" season 4, episode 4 teases that the queen may develop feelings for the former.

Mary was beaming as Darnley stood before her in the "Reign" season 4, episode 4 promo. "Am I what you expected?" she asked with a smile on her face. "You are more so," her husband-to-be said in reply.

From the looks of it, Mary might want to marry Darnley not just to make sure she keeps her power, but also because she actually wants to be with him.

"Reign" season 4, episode 4 will also see Mary and her brother James (Dan Jeannotte) work together to stop the plan of John Knox (Jonathan Goad) to turn the Catholics against her.

As the Queen of Scots goes on with her plans, Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) looks for new allies. If the promo for "Reign" season 4, episode 4 is anything to go by, her search will be fruitful.

The clip for the new episode also shows Catherine (Megan Follows) learning about his son Charles (Spencer MacPherson) being a necrophiliac. This would explain his obsession with death in the previous episode.

More importantly, this sheds some light on the fate of the young lady named Bianca that Catherine sent to serve as pleasure to him in "Reign" season 4, episode 3.

Fans will remember that Charles invited her to a place where he understands the pain he brings to others. The revelation about his necrophilia reveals that he may have killed Bianca, who never returned after her visit to the king.

"Reign" season 4, episode 4, "Playing with Fire," airs Friday, March 3, at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
