Richie Incognito 'Done' With Miami Dolphins After Allegations of Bullying, Racism

National Football League star Richie Incognito is allegedly "done" with the Miami Dolphins, after it was reported that he harassed and tormented a teammate, Jonathan Martin. CBS Sports was the first to reveal tweets and a voicemail from Incognito to Martin, which reportedly devastated his reputation and career.

"(I'm going to) slap your (expletive) mouth. (I'm going to) slap your real mother across the face (laughter)," part of the voicemail from Incognito stated. "(Expletive) you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you," Adam Schefter tweeted, citing the voicemail.

Incognito has denied leaving the voicemail and taking part in any bullying of Martin or other teammates. Yet the Miami Dolphins, once made aware of the situation, suspended Incognito.

"If the review shows that this is not a safe atmosphere, I'll take whatever measures necessary to make sure that it is," head coach Joe Philbin said at a press conference.

"The notion of bullying is based on speculation and has not been presented to us as a concern from Jonathan or anyone else internally," the Dolphins said in a formal statement. "We believe in maintaining a culture of respect for one another and as a result, we believe this decision [Incognito's suspension] is in the best interest of the organization at this time. We will continue to work with the league on this matter."

Martin is currently receiving treatment for emotional issues, which a friend said had nothing to do with the Dolphins but instead centered on family issues. The second-round draft pick has had a good start with the Dolphins, but it's hard to say how the alleged bullying and threats have affected him.

According to one source, Incognito's suspension is a sure sign that he is "done" with the Dolphins. "There are procedures in place and everyone wants to be fair. The NFL is involved, but from a club prospective, he'll never play another game here," the source told the Miami Herald.
