'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Delay Update: Despite New Push Backs, Animated Series To Premiere April 2017?

The release of "Rick and Morty" season 3 has been delayed anew. Production for the next installment of the hit cartoon series has reportedly hit another snag due to show creator Dan Harmon.

According to reports, Harmon acknowledges being one of the reasons for the delay in production. Harmon recently said that since "Rick and Morty" is an animated production, everything needs to be on paper. He mentioned that aside from the writers of the show being slow in writing, constant arguments among the people behind the show also cause major delays in production.

However, writers of the series claim that they are already done writing season 3. According to them, the fact that an opening scene has already been released on Adult Swim Australia only proves that they are already done with their job. The writers claim that the pressure is now in the hands of the members of the animation team who have to finish the animation before the target release date of June this year.

Meanwhile, some reports claim that "Rick and Morty" season 3 will not be released in June but in April. Reports say that fans should not believe the creators of the show who constantly tease through cryptic tweets that the show has already been canceled because the truth is that "Rick and Morty" season 3 will be out before they know it.

Since the previous season ended with a major cliffhanger, fans can expect season 3 to provide answers to the mysteries left by season 2. Also, earlier this year, the creators of the series released a sneak peek at their development meetings for the upcoming season, showing that season 3 is indeed underway.

"Rick and Morty" follows the time-traveling and dimension-hopping adventures of Rick and his grandson Morty. The creators of the series have yet to announce the official release date for season 3.
