The Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch is the first story-focused add-on content for the game that is scheduled to release on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Baba Yaga comes from Slavic mythology that describes it as a supernatural being that appears as an old woman. The creature is said to live in a hut that stands on a pair of giant chicken legs.

The Baba Yaga DLC is included in the game's season pass that costs $29.99. The first season pass content was made available last month. This was the Endurance Mode that required players to keep Lara alive by feeding her and keeping her warm. In other words, the first season pass content tested how far the character can go against the harshest environment in the game.

After Baba Yaga, a third DLC, Cold Darkness Awakened, is expected to arrive later this year. This upcoming content is expected to bring with it wave-based survival challenges.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" is a timed Xbox exclusive that launched in November 2015. Once the exclusivity deal is over, the title is expected to be available on Sony's PlayStation 4 later this year. The title comes from developers Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software.
