'Riverdale' Season 1 Episode 6: Betty and Jughead's Investigation Leads Them to Polly, Crime Scene
The upcoming episode of "Riverdale" season 1 will see the continuation of Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) investigation where they eventually end up meeting Polly (Tiera Skovbye).
The synopsis of the new episode - which is titled "Faster, Pussycats! Kill! Kill!" - states that Jughead and Betty's prying will ultimately lead them to where the latter's sister is: a troubled youth center. While they are busy with that, a surprising betrayal results in Veronica (Camila Mendes) falling out with Hermione (Marisol Nichols), whose first day working at Fred's (Luke Perry) construction company brings her closer to him.
Elsewhere, Archie (K.J. Apa) finds himself in the middle of a feud between Josie (Ashleigh Murray) and Valerie (Hayley Law). Valerie has been helping Archie with his music lately and it looks like it will have a huge impact on her friendship with Josie, whose home life is not exactly in tip-top shape either. With Valerie's help, Archie joins Riverdale High's annual variety show, where Josie's father unexpectedly returns.

A teaser trailer for the next episode has also been released. It starts off with Archie up on stage, presumably during an audition for the variety show. However, it does not seem like he will make it into the lineup as he can be seen being overcome with stage fright. The next scene shows Betty and Jughead teaming up once again to track down Polly.
"There's got to be a reason my mom and dad don't want me to see Polly," Betty points out in the clip.
And by the looks of it, Jughead and Betty will stumble upon more incriminating evidence pertaining to Jason's death. More intrigue is also in store for viewers as one scene sees them discovering Jason's football jacket in the back of a car, and the next scene sees the car on fire.
"This whole car is a crime scene," Jughead says.
By the end of the clip, Betty is seen confronting her father, Hal (Lochlyn Munro), asking him if he was the one who killed Jason Blossom.
"Riverdale" season 1 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
