Robert De Niro Welcomes Child at 68 (VIDEO)
Robert De Niro, 68, has welcomed a new baby girl in to the world with wife Grace Hightower, 56.
The new baby was named Helen Grace Hightower and weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces. She was born via surrogate on Christmas Eve and is the second child of Grace Hightower and sixth child of actor Robert De Niro.
The couple already has a 13-year-old son named Eliot. They met in London in 1987 and were married in 1997, but the couple faced early troubles. De Niro filed divorce papers in 1999 and a custody battle began over Elliot in 2001. However, the divorce was never finalized and the two renewed vows in 2004.

This will be the third child De Niro welcomes via surrogate, including his two twins, Julian and Aaron, 16, with former wife Toukie Smith. He also has two children with former wife Diahnne Abbott, daughter Drena, 40, and son Raphael, 35.
De Niro is well known for his academy award role in “The Godfather Part II.” He also directed “The Bronx Tale” and “The Good Shepherd”. His wife, Grace Hightower, started her career in modeling and also played the social worker in the film “Precious.” She is a know philanthropist.
