The "Twilight" star, 28, has reportedly made the final cut among other actors including Kellan Lutz, Chris Pine, Chris Hemsworth and Channing Tatum. Pattinson could potentially replace 71-year-old legendary actor Harrison Ford, who first helped make the "Indiana Jones" franchise popular in the 80s.

"Rob is top of the initial list because he has showed his acting stripes away from Twilight but the competition will be stiff," a source told the Daily Star U.K.
