Robert Pattinson, Katy Perry Dating Rumors: Singer Comforts 'Twilight' Star Amidst Break-up Rumors With Fiancée FKA Twigs
After rumors about Robert Pattinson's break-up with fiancée FKA Twigs surfaced online, speculations claimed that the "Twilight" star is currently leaning on Katy Perry for comfort.
A source reportedly told HollywoodLife that the 31-year-old British actor and the "Roar" singer might be giving romance a try when they started hanging out more often to cope with his current breakup.
According to the source, Pattinson and Perry are constantly texting and calling each other at the moment. The insider also mentioned that there had always been a strong connection and attraction between the two, but they never acted on it since they were both in separate relationships in the past. He had been engaged to Twigs since April 2015, while Perry just came out from a relationship with actor Orlando Bloom.

But since they are not seeing anyone at this time, there will be no one to prevent them from turning their friendship into another level.
The source also told the publication that Pattinson was very attracted to Perry but he will not do anything to jeopardize their friendship.
"There's no doubt that he's really into Katy, and that he fancies her like crazy, but, he's determined to not get into some kind of rebound romance — he respects and cares about Katy way too much to risk blowing the friendship they currently have," the source also said.
This is not the first time that Pattinson was reportedly relying on Perry for comfort. When the actor broke up with his "Twilight" co-star Kristen Stewart in 2013 due to her alleged affair with "Snow White & The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, another source reportedly told The Sun that he spent some nights hanging out in the singer's house.
"Rob poured his heart out to Katy about Kristen having cheated on him with Rupert Sanders. She proved to be a really good shoulder to cry on," the source reportedly told the publication as spotted by Metro.
