The "Twilight" star, 27, was seen transporting various items from Stewart's Los Feliz, California mansion using a red pickup truck. He reportedly first moved in with Stewart, 23, in March.
"He showed up early in the morning in a big red pickup truck and was in the house for maybe 30 minutes," an eyewitness told Life & Style magazine.
"When he came out, the back of the truck was loaded with stuff. Suitcases, a bike, trash bags full of his things," the source added.
Pattinson first began dating Stewart in 2008 after meeting on the set of "Twilight" and while their relationship was rocked by a cheating scandal in 2012, they were able to work through the problems. In recent weeks the couple reportedly began facing new issues which prompted the split.
"[Rob] looked miserable," the eyewitness revealed. "He looked like a man who had just been kicked out."
On May 13 Pattinson celebrated his birthday with friends however Stewart was not present. The actress reportedly had an argument with Pattinson via phone which allegedly prompted their split.
"They are basically allowed to date other people and Kristen is super sad over the whole thing. She's depressed and rightly so," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"She has absolutely no desire to date anyone and the thought of Rob possibly seeing other people has made her sick to her stomach," the source added.
In July Stewart publicly admitted to having an affair with her married "Snow White and The Huntsman" film Director, Rupert Sanders. Pattinson was understandably heart broken and while he was able to forgive her, the relationship has allegedly never been the same.
"He's not as into it as he was before the cheating— not giving her special treatment like he used to. She feels unloved and that's why they fought," a source said.
