'Rock Band 4' DLC Adds Aerosmith Songs, First Patch Coming Soon

"Rock Band 4" was just released earlier this month but developer and published Harmonix is already treating fans with new additions for the game. First up is the announcement regarding the new DLC songs. In a report by Game Spot, it said that a new song pack is now available for purchase in the Rock Band music store. The new pack contains hit songs from the legendary rock band Aerosmith and is called the "Aerosmith Hits Song Pack 02."

In the pack are six of the band's best songs which include "Rats in the Cellar," "Dude Looks Like A Lady," "Eat the Rich," "Cryin," "Love in an Elevator," and "Seasons of Wither." They are compatible with all "Rock Band" console games including the latest version. For those who are interested in buying it, they can get the songs at an affordable price. The source stated that the songs are priced individually for $2 only. Those who wish to purchase all six can get the pack for $10, giving buyers a $2 discount.

The six songs aren't the first Aerosmith tracks to be included in the game though. Some of the songs that are already featured in the Rock Band music store include hit titles such as "Sweet Emotion," "Walk This Way," Dream On," and "Train Kept A Rollin."

Another treat for all the "Rock Band" players is the upcoming first update. According to a report by PlayStation Lifestyle, Harmonix has announced that the fourth installment of the game will be receiving its first update on the last part of October. There's no specific date yet but they did outline the fixes which they're planning to do.

They're particularly targeting to address a PlayStation 4 livestream audio support issue among various other bugs. The patch will fix character stand-ins, 5.1 crowd audio support and other bugs like the Beatles guitars would not auto-calibrate, a font issue with certain symbols in lyrics, a lefty-flip cymbal issue with GH drums and so on. The complete patch notes will be released soon.
