'Rocket League' To Feature DeLorean in 'Back to the Future' DLC

Gamers of "Rocket League" will be delighted to hear that the game is going to feature the DeLorean from the "Back to the Future" trilogy. According to Tech Times, Psyonix is bringing to the gamers a Back to the Future-themed pack this coming Oct. 21. It will be their third pack released.

It's basically the same day that Marty McFly, his girlfriend Jennifer Parker, and the mad Doc Brown journeyed through time to go save the world from disaster. As International Business Times noted, the DeLorean was the car that Marty, Jennifer, and Doc Brown used to journey through the different time periods in the films. Since then, the car has become an iconic vehicle in the history of cinema.

With the coming DLC, players will be able to choose the famous DeLorean Time Machine as a playable Battle-Car. With its folding jet-wheels and iconic burnt rubber trail that is seen every time it moves in the movies, the vehicle will be equipped and ready to maneuver a gigantic soccer ball around a field.

Psyonix revealed that they have been fantasizing about including the iconic vehicle for some time already and now that it's already happening, they couldn't be more delighted. "We were all such huge Back to the Future fans here at Psyonix, that it was one of the few 'Holy Grails' we had hoped for besides having a hit game," Psyonix said on the PlayStation Blog.

Those who are interested in getting the DeLorean for "Rocket League" will need to pay $1.99 in order to purchase the "Back to the Future Car Pack." Fans are hoping that other than the DeLorean, the pack will contain something else. Another DLC pack that players can get is the "Revenge of the Battle-Cars Pack" which is sold for $3.99 and contains a number of new cars that the player can utilize during a round of intense game with other players.
