Rose Leslie, Kit Harington Wedding Date News: Ceremony Might Halt 'Game of Thrones' Production

"Game of Thrones" co-stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington's wedding might delay the TV series' production.

Harington appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show recently, and as expected of someone who just got engaged, the actor was in high spirits. Since both of them have been pretty private about their relationship, Harington surprised many when he dropped a few hints about their plans for the big day.

The husband-and-wife-to-be want all their castmates present when they tie the knot. During Harington's guest appearance on the talk show, he admitted that he already informed one of their producers about it. And since production for the final season is underway, they might actually have to plot the wedding in their schedule.

"I rang him [one of the show's producers] up and I said, I'm getting married and it's your fault actually," he told the producer. "You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding by the way. They [the cast] have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down."

The couple announced their engagement in The Times London last month. "The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire," the message reads.

Leslie and Harington have been together since 2012. They reportedly met on the set of "Game of Thrones," where they portrayed on-screen lovers, Ygritte and Jon Snow, respectively, up until the red-haired wildling was killed off in season 4.

The final season of "Game of Thrones" has already begun filming. Production, however, is expected to run as late as August next year.

As of now, the premiere date has yet to be set. But definitely, it will not air in April, its usual return date. Many suspect the upcoming season to hit small screens in 2019.
