'Rosewood' Episode 3 Spoilers and Episode 2 Plot Recap: Villa's Backstory
In the upcoming episode of "Rosewood" entitled "Have-Nots and Hematomas," the official synopsis reads, "A string of mysterious deaths leads to murder accusations against a bright but troubled young man, though Rosewood is the only one who believes in his innocence. Elsewhere, Rosewood deals with a new adversary, escalating health problems and a budding romance, while Villa's poor social skills get in the way of solving a case."
In the promo for the episode, it seems that Villa is not to happy that Rosewood has once again interjected himself into her case and she wants him to stay out of her way, which obviously he is not going to do. Rosewood's mother learns that her children are hiding something about Rosewood being sick.
The previous episode began with Rosewood on a date with a beautiful woman. He took her home but he held off on having sex with her. The following morning, a little boy found a severed foot while he was playing on the beach and the police were called.
Captain Hornstock and Villa arrived on the scene and they were followed by Rosewood, who was allowed to examine the foot. Rosewood had noticed some small bite marks on the foot and he also noticed some fire marks.
Rosewood's mother arrived at the lab. Hornstock called Villa into his office. Rosewood interrupted their talk and said he found a print on the foot. Villa went to a bar after work and Rosewood followed her there. They talked for a while until she got a call from the lab about a match. The print belonged to a woman named Chiang Wen.
Wen said she had given the person a pedicure, which explained her print. The owner of the foot was identified and his name was Marty Conforth. Marty owned a match-making company for rich people.
Villa and Rosewood visited Marty's company and it was discovered that Marty had a wife named Carrie and a fiancé named Beth. Marty also had a girlfriend named Judy. The police found Marty's body on the beach. In the end, they discovered that Beth and Carrie conspired to kill Marty because he was going to leave both of them for Judy. Rosewood went to his mother's house for movie night.
"Rosewood" airs every Tuesday.
