'Rosewood' Season 1 Latest News: Getting a Bit More Personal With Rosewood

"Rosewood" season 1 started off a little light, exploring more of Rosewood's charm rather than exploring a much deeper story. However, it is understandable that a premiere episode would not immediately jump into all the drama to keep the interest of the viewers on a steady increasing pace.

According to a TV Fanatic recap, in the second episode, viewers got to know more of Rosewood and his personal life. It delved more into his interpersonal relationships with the people close to him. First would be Kat, who Rosewood claims to have deeper feelings for. However, this is not evident with his actions, as being able to even introduce Kat to his family may be a sign of his lack of commitment. However, Rosewood's commitment issue may also root from the fact that he won't let anyone care for him truly because of his disease, especially not that he took his name off the transplant list.

Following this news was, of course, his admittance to his mother about it, which she certainly did not take lightly. Her pain and disbelief were evident in her eyes as she knows without this transplant, the life of his son would be inevitably cut short. She hopes that Rosewood would stop pushing people out of his life and let himself to love someone again.

As for Rosewood's working relationship with Villa, it seems there is some progress happening already. Villa somewhat opened up that despite her tough exterior, she admits it's hard for her to be away from home since she loves it there. Although Rosewood is not aware, Villa is definitely having her own interpersonal issues as her estranged relationship with her father as well as the recent passing of her husband. This can prove too much for anyone, even someone as strong as her. This is why it was not a surprise that her issues were already surfacing that resulted to Capt. Hornstock asking her to go to therapy.

"Rosewood" airs an all-new episode every Wednesday on FOX.
