Among the many videos, NT News reported that two cops in Central Australia posted their own take on the dance challenge. It was said that the two men decided to put an Australian twist to the viral dance by adding the Australian instrument, didgeridoo.

They performed the dance with a man playing the didgeridoo over the Ghost Town DJ's track. The cops ended the dance with a dramatic mic drop that left many Australians proud. It was stated that the film was recorded to challenge another video from New Zealand.

The video was well received by social media users, receiving almost 200,000 views after 10 hours of being posted. In addition, it was shared more than 2000 times, reaching the other side of the world.

However, it did not stop there. Their dance video was then challenged by the Queensland firefighters. As reported by TV New Zealand, the fire men of New Zealand took the video as an invitation for another challenge. With that, they uploaded their own version of the dance, bringing challenges to police departments and fire fighters all over the world.

While most believe that the dance was created through a mere social media challenge, it was reported that the dance existed long before its fame. According to The Fader, the dance challenge originated from New Jersey's club culture. It was stated the dance was with a distinct choice of music, ranging from 130 to 140 beats per minute.
